Thanks for jumping into this with me—stoked to work together on this next level stuff for the Vancouver AI Community Meetups. Here’s the game plan to keep things smooth but also give you some wiggle room to flex your creative muscle:
1. Priority #1: Social Media Promo Graphics (Today)
• Square Template for Instagram/Promos:
We need to build a clean, reusable template for promoting the speakers on Instagram and other socials.
• Include space for the speaker’s face, name, Vancouver AI Community Meetup, our new logo, and the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre logo.
• Would be awesome if we could make the background swappable, so we can update it month-to-month as we update the mission patch.
• We’ve got 5 speakers this month, so once we lock in the template, we’ll need to plug in their info/photos and blast it out today.
• Finalize the Logo/Mission Patch for This Month (Mission 10):
We need this to finish the promo template for today, so let’s finalize this patch and drop it into the design.
2. Next Step (Tomorrow & This Week)
• Mission Patches for Mission 11 & 12:
After we finalize the patch for Mission 10 today, we’ll need the patches for Mission 11 and 12 too. No rush on these, but let’s get them ready in the next couple of days so we’re ahead of the curve for upcoming meetups.
3. Merch Design (Next Week/End of Month)
• T-Shirts, Hats, Stickers, and Patches:
There’s been a lot of buzz about opening an online store to sell merch—especially now with these cool mission patches. Once we’ve got Mission Patch 10 nailed, I’d love to explore how it looks on shirts, hats, stickers, and embroidered patches.
• The goal is to have the merch ready in-house by the end of the month if possible, so we can start pushing it at meetups and through the Space Center partnership.
4. Big Picture Rollout
• New Look Across Everything:
Eventually, I’d like to take this fresh partnership aesthetic and spread it across all our other platforms (website, banners, event signage, etc.). No rush on this, but any help when we get to it would be awesome.
